Deacon Karleigh became the CYF (Children, Youth and Family) and Communications Coordinator in December of 2025. She was recently ordained as of November 2025.
Deacon Karleigh was born in Albany, New York but has spent most of her youth in Apple Valley, Minnesota. She attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, graduating with a double major in Religion and Social Work. After her undergraduate studies, Karleigh served as a Young Adult in Global Mission (YAGM) in Adelaide, Australia. When she returned to the US, she worked as a CYF coordinator at Grace Lutheran Church in Apple Valley, Minnesota. With encouragement from her coworkers, Karleigh attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul Minnesota. Towards the end of her seminary career, Karleigh began working at Shobi’s Table, a pay as you can food truck in St. Paul, MN. She worked as the Hospitality Coordinator until receiving her first call at Lord of Life Church.
In her free time, Deacon Karleigh enjoys crafting, napping and exploring the Tri-Cities. She has a cat named Foley, who is a menace but she loves her. Deacon Karleigh and Foley are enjoying the lack of snow in the Tri-Cities and are excited to be a part of the Lord of Life family.
